Project Manager – Facade Access Equipment
Chico Ca. USA/ Toronto Ontario Canada
This position is to oversee, administrate and coordinate the supply and installation of heavy machinery and facade access systems (Building Maintenance Units/BMU’s) and the XSPlatforms fall protection product line on building roof tops throughout North America.
The Project Manager will be the direct liaison between our customers/clients, subcontractors and our European headquarters, which is located in the Netherlands.
Applicants must be highly organized and accountable in reporting. The basic skill set is MS Office Suite, MS Project, Adobe Pro or other PDF management skills, AutoCAD and cloud based storage file systems, budgeting, cost tracking, transmittals/RFI’s and change order management. Knowledge of eSub project management software would be considered a plus
The Project Manager is expected to review and understand the architectural and structural documents for each assigned project. Experience with electrical systems, wiring diagrams, programmable logic controllers, is a plus.
Moderate travel throughout North America may be required to witness testing and deliveries of the BMU’s and fall protection systems. Qualified applicants shall possess a degree in Construction Management or equivalent education and experience. Preference will be given to those with industry experience and/or project management accreditation. Experience in the high rise construction field and particularly façade access and fall protection equipment is an asset.
