Safety and Health at Work Day

The 28th of April marks the global World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This is an international campaign that returns yearly and expresses the need to promote safe, healthy and decent work. This campaign has been held since 2003 and is observed by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Create a Safe and healthy working environment

The main goal in the long term is to create a safe and healthy working environment and culture, where governments, employers and workers work together with accident prevention in mind. The World Day for Safety and Health at Work reminds us to participate in this discussion. Think about preventive measures that provide working conditions that are free of dangers.

This year’s theme is: “Optimize the collection and use of OSH data”

More data provides us with more coherent policies to protect workers from occupational hazards and risks while improving productivity. That is the main reason we would like to share some of our latest checklists. They present practical approaches, aiming to reduce work-related injuries, incidents and death. The checklists will help creating a safe working environment on roofs, scaffolds and suspended platforms.
